In order to intensify the efforts of overseas talent introduction, recently a delegation consisting of vice-president Wang Runxiao, as the group leader and some other colleagues from Department of Personnel, High-level Personnel Office, Department of International Cooperation and other related departments went to Australia and New Zealand to hold the special job fairs.
The delegation held 4 job fairs in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Auckland during 6 days. More than 150 high-level overseas talents from the world famous universities, such as the University of Melbourne, RMIT University, Monash University, Australian National University, the University of Sydney and the University of Auckland, attended the job fairs. Through such high-level personnel recruitment fairs, more and more overseas scholars had the chance to know the brilliant achievements obtained by NPU in recent years and especially the urgent need of talents with the positive attitude in NPU. So far, Department of Personnel, School of Automation and School of Computer have received more than 40 job applications and resumes.
In addition to the job fairs, the delegation also visited the sister universities in Australia. On behalf of NPU, the vice-president Wang Runxiao signed the cooperation agreements with Australian National University and RMIT University, which further developed the cooperation relationship between NPU and the famous universities in Australia and New Zealand.
